After thinking of films that i could use as inspiration for my opening to a film, i decididon using the 2004 movie called Cellular starring Jason Stratham, Kim Basinger and Chris Evans. I feel after watching this film that this is going to be the main inspiration to what i am to achieve with my opening to a film. The genre of the film is action and throughout the film we see guns, fast paced chases and scenes of violence.

The story is based around a young mum (Kim Basinger) who is kidnapped by Jason Stratham and his crew and thrown violently into a mustery house and then the attic and the phone is then smashed up so she has no contact to the outside world.





Jason and his boys are unaware of the fact that she is a secondary school science teacher so she is able to fix the phone. She then makes a random call to a man who hangs up after thinking it was a prank call. She then calls him again and this is where the story begins. s
